Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using rvsns ("we," "us") at rvsns.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

rvsns provides professional audio mixing and mastering services using real Pro Tools signal chains built and refined by ear across hundreds of recording sessions. You upload your vocals and a beat; we deliver a professionally mixed and mastered recording. The service is not AI-generated — every mix runs through the same professional engineer templates used on real records.

3. Your Content & Rights

  • You affirm that you own or have the legal right to use all audio files you upload, including the instrumental beat.
  • You retain full ownership of your original recordings and the final mixed output.
  • By uploading, you grant rvsns a limited, non-exclusive license to process your files solely to provide the service.
  • We do not claim any ownership over your music, nor do we use your recordings for any purpose other than fulfilling your order.
  • The finished mix is yours to release, sell, and distribute commercially.

4. File Retention & Deletion

  • Uploaded files (vocals, beats) are retained for 48 hours after upload so that demo customers who upgrade to a paid order do not need to re-upload their files.
  • Completed mix files are stored for 48 hours after delivery, giving you time to download and request revisions.
  • Each approved revision resets the 48-hour window — you get a fresh 48 hours from the moment the revised mix is delivered.
  • After the retention window closes, all files associated with your order are permanently deleted from our servers. We do not retain backups.
  • Files from unpaid orders are deleted within 48 hours of creation.
  • Download your finished mix promptly — we cannot recover deleted files.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • All purchases are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
  • Prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may apply based on your location.
  • Due to the digital and custom nature of the service, all sales are final once mixing has begun.
  • If there is a technical failure on our end (e.g., we are unable to deliver a mix), you are entitled to a full refund. Contact us at hello@rvsns.com.
  • Revision credits are non-transferable and tied to the specific order they were purchased with.
  • The free 30-second demo is provided at no charge and is not eligible for refund.

6. Revisions

  • Revision eligibility depends on your plan or add-on at purchase (0, 1, or 2 revisions per order).
  • A revision must be requested within 48 hours of delivery of the most recent mix. Requests outside this window are not accepted.
  • Revisions are submitted via the slider controls in your order portal. We reprocess the mix and deliver a revised version within 5–10 minutes.
  • Each delivered revision resets the 48-hour window for the next revision, if any remain.
  • Revision add-ons purchased after delivery ($6) are subject to the same 48-hour window from the original delivery date.

7. Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Contains hate speech, threats, or content that promotes violence or discrimination
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders containing prohibited content without refund.

8. Account Verification & Downloads

  • Listening to your mix in the browser is always available without verification.
  • To download your files, you must verify ownership of the email address associated with your order.
  • Verification can be completed via Google sign-in (if your Google account email matches your order email) or via a magic link emailed to your address. Magic links expire after 15 minutes.
  • This verification step exists to protect your files and ensure only you can download your music.

9. Subscriptions

  • Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • Unused mix credits do not roll over to the next billing period.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific creative outcome. Audio quality depends in part on the quality and format of the files you upload.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, rvsns's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless rvsns, its operators, employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Audio content (vocals, beats, instrumentals, or any other material) you upload, submit, or otherwise provide to the service;
  • Your use, distribution, sale, or release of any mix delivered by the service;
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law;
  • Any claim that your content infringes a third party's intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights.

This obligation survives termination of your use of the service.

13. DMCA & Copyright Claims

If you believe content stored or processed by the service infringes your copyright, send a written DMCA takedown notice to dmca@rvsns.com including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to locate it;
  • Your contact information (address, phone, email);
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized and that the information in the notice is accurate.

We respond to valid notices in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
